Let me walk you through exactly how to get the most out of them — the right way.

Why Ceramic Spray Sealants Are Worth Your Time

Traditional waxes are great, but they don't last. Full ceramic coatings are incredible, but they're a huge commitment. Ceramic spray sealants sit right in the sweet spot: real SiO2 protection that bonds to your paint, solid water beading, and a glossy finish, all in under an hour.

The Correct Order of Operations

This is where a lot of people go wrong — they skip steps or do them out of order and wonder why their results don't last. Here's the proper sequence:

Step 1: Rinse the Vehicle — And Mean It

This is not a quick splash and move on. A proper professional pre-rinse takes 10 to 12 minutes — you need to thoroughly flush every panel and every crevice before a clay bar ever touches that paint. Rush this and you're setting yourself up to fail before you've even started.

Step 3: Rinse Again

Step 4: Clay Bar with Lubricant

Run your hand over the paint in a plastic bag. Feel any bumps or roughness? Clay bar time — but never on dry paint. Keep the surface well lubricated with a dedicated clay bar lubricant at all times. Spray it generously, keep it wet, and let the clay glide.

The clay bar picks up any fine particles left behind after the iron remover — think of it as the final sweep before you lay down protection. Skipping the lube is one of the fastest ways to induce marring and swirl marks, undoing everything you just worked for.

Step 5: Wash the Vehicle — With the Right Soap

Now it's time to wash — but soap choice matters more than most people realize.

Use a plain, standard car wash soap with zero additives. No wash-n-wax. No polymer boosters. No shine enhancers. Just soap.

Step 6: Final Rinse

Step 7: Apply Your Sealant
